The Denver Broncos could use all the help they can get right now since they will be without all of their quarterbacks on Sunday due to COVID-19 protocols. They do receive a boost on offense with rookie wide receiver Jerry Jeudy set to suit up and play against the New Orleans Saints.
Jeudy had been questionable all week as he continues to battle and ankle/achilles injury that caused him to be limited in practice. While he is going to play, his fantasy value is not nearly as high as usual given the fact that the Broncos will have Kendall Hinton starting at quarterback.
Hinton hasn't played quarterback since he was in college at Wake Forest back in 2018. With that being said, it is likely that the Broncos use a run-heavy gameplan to try and keep the clock moving as much as they can. This would obviously not benefit any of the Broncos' wide receivers.
It is great to see that Jeudy is healthy and active as we are quickly approaching the fantasy football playoffs. Jeudy hasn't been super consistent this season, but he has posted five games of over 60 receiving yards. He also had a breakout performance in Week 9 hauling in 7 receptions for 125 yards and a touchdown.
Unless you are shallow at the wide receiver position, it would be smart to look at other options rather than starting Jeudy this week. However, he should have no problem returning to his FLEX/WR3 status as early as next week.
