The All-Star break signifies the halfway point of the MLB season and the difference between contender and pretender is going to get pretty clear moving forward. It shouldn't be a surprise to see the reigning champion Los Angeles Dodgers still leading the way in the odds to win the World Series.

The Dodgers own the best odds to take home what would be the franchise's eighth Commissioner's Trophy at +400, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. They are followed closely behind by a couple of American League teams in the Houston Astros (+450) and Chicago White Sox (+850).

In 2021, the Dodgers have been finding success on both sides of the ball. They have posted the lowest team ERA in the league so far (3.14) and are also averaging 5.23 runs per game (No. 2 in MLB). Starter Walker Buehler has been an ace this year with a 9-1 record to go along with a minuscule 2.36 ERA and 0.92 WHIP across 18 starts.

However, these odds are sure to keep changing as the MLB trade deadline quickly approaches in a few weeks. For now, here's how the rest of the odds shake out for the 2021 World Series winner.
