Two teams fighting for an NFC Wild Card spot meet head to head in Week 13 as the Los Angeles Rams (7-4) go on the road to take on the Arizona Cardinals (6-5). This NFC West battle has numerous fantasy football stars and the Rams head into this one as 3-point favorites, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL betting odds.
If you need help with your fantasy football lineups, here's some start 'em, sit 'em advice for the Week 13 Rams-Cardinals showdown.
Cooper Kupp Fantasy
Start Cooper Kupp, WR, Los Angeles Rams: While Cooper Kupp hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 4, he continues to be quarterback Jared Goff's go-to option in the passing game. Kupp has seen an average of 11.3 targets per game over the last four weeks and has surpassed 100 receiving yards three times this season. He has a better chance to find the end zone this week as the Cardinals' defense has given up 13 touchdowns to opposing wide receivers this season (T-No. 23 in the NFL). Kupp destroyed the Cardinals last season racking up 13 receptions for 164 yards and 2 touchdowns in his two games played against them. He should be started across all fantasy football formats.
Kenyan Drake Fantasy
Start Kenyan Drake, RB, Arizona Cardinals: Kenyan Drake has finally started to look like the running back fantasy football managers drafted in the early rounds this season. He has had at least 100 rushing yards or a touchdown in each of his past three games and has clearly solidified his position as the clear-cut starter on the team. He draws a tough matchup this week as the Rams' defense has been stout against the run, but the Cardinals seem ready to rely on Drake once again. Given the volume he is receiving and his ability to find the end zone, Drake should be in your starting lineup this week.
Darrell Henderson Fantasy
Sit All Los Angeles Rams Running Backs: This remains a tricky backfield to figure out and that doesn't benefit any of the running backs in fantasy football. It seems to be a committee made up of Darrell Henderson, Malcolm Brown and Cam Akers. That means no one truly knows who Sean McVay is going to give the ball to from one game to another. Akers has been the best back recently posting back-to-back games with a touchdown, but he is much too risky to be worth a start this week. It would be smart to avoid this backfield entirely if possible.
Christian Kirk Fantasy
Sit Christian Kirk, WR, Arizona Cardinals: Christian Kirk was a popular waiver wire pickup throughout the season, but he has been in a major slump over the past few games. After scoring 5 touchdowns in Week 6-9, he hasn't scored one since and hasn't had more than 50 receiving yards in any of the past three games. Kirk is still seeing an average of 5.8 targets per game this season, but he draws a difficult matchup in Week 13 against a tough Rams' defense. The Rams have only allowed 1,489 yards to opposing wide receivers this season (No. 1 in the NFL) and just 6 touchdowns (T-No. 1 in the NFL). This doesn't seem like a game where Kirk can get back into rhythm. He should stay on your bench until his production begins to ramp back up.
