The Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Chargers will square off Sunday in one of the more intriguing Week 10 matchups. FanDuel Sportsbook has the Chargers slated as 3-point underdogs in a game that could feature plenty of scoring.
If you need some help with your fantasy lineups, here's some start 'em, sit 'em advice for this Week 10 showdown.
Tyler Conklin Fantasy
Start Tyler Conklin, TE, Minnesota Vikings: Tyler Conlin has carved out a clear role in recent weeks. He tied for the team lead in targets with 7 in Week 9, hauling in 5 catches for 45 yards. He's averaging a healthy 6.3 targets over the last three games, and he's produced with 4.3 receptions for 57.7 yards. His recent consistency makes him a start for anyone needing help at tight end.
Mike Williams Fantasy
Start Mike Williams, WR, Los Angeles Chargers: Mike Williams has disappointed after his hot start. He's turned 15 combined targets over the last three games into just 6 receptions for 104 yards. This could be his get-right spot, though. Minnesota is allowing the sixth-most PPR points per game (40.18) to opposing WRs this season. This exploitable secondary has several members banged up, and safety Harrison Smith is already out for Week 10. This is the perfect opportunity for Williams to boom.
Kirk Cousins Fantasy
Sit Kirk Cousins, QB, Minnesota Vikings: Kirk Cousins heads into an unfavorable matchup this week. The Chargers are holding opponents to the third-fewest passing yards per game at 197.0. This has made them a fantasy nightmare for QBs, who are averaging just 15.03 points (the fifth-lowest mark in the league) against them this season. Don't blindly start Cousins coming off of a solid week that was inflated by a rushing score.
Jared Cook Fantasy
Sit Jared Cook, TE, Los Angeles Chargers: Jared Cook is now part of a tight end committee, making him an avoid. Cook hauled in 4 caches for 48 yards in Week 9, but Donald Parham Jr. (3/39) and Stephen Anderson (4/39) were both heavily utilized. Parham and Anderson also both caught touchdowns, while Cook came up empty. It's hard to see all three thriving simultaneously, and Cook may be getting squeezed out after playing a season-low 42% of snaps last Sunday. There's serious potential he puts up a dud against a Vikings defense allowing the sixth-fewest PPR points per game (8.72) to TEs this season.
