Los Angeles Angels superstar Shohei Ohtani continues to impress baseball fans from around the world with his unique two-way talent. In fact, he rode his fantastic performances on the mound and in the batter's box all the way to an MVP award last year.
Seriously, there's not many things this talented ballplayer can't do.
Add Grade A impressions to the list. Having a little fun during Angels' Spring Training, Ohtani was caught on video doing an impression of New York Mets ace Jacob deGrom.
From the intimidating stare-down just over the bill of his glove to the unique leg kick, Ohtani nails down the deGrom spoof.
There's no pitcher better than deGrom in today's MLB and perhaps Ohtani wants to channel the Mets' ace for even more successes on the mound. Ohtani's MVP was won largely on his 46 home runs and 100 RBIs, but you can't discount the 3.18 ERA across 23 starts.
deGrom managed an insane 1.08 ERA in 15 starts prior to his injury issues, setting the bar high for other MLB pitchers.
They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right?
