VIDEO: Remembering When Yadier Molina Held on for an Out After a Brutal Collision With Josh Harrison at Home Plate
By Zach Brunner

There have been some massive collisions in the MLB, which easily takes away the notion that baseball is not a contact sport. We have seen hits that would even be penalized in football, and that's saying something.
One of the hardest hits in baseball history has to be when Yadier Molina took a full-body shot from Josh Harrison at the plate, but still hung on for the out.
It's pretty miraculous that Molina held on for the out. Of course, it wasn't his mitt that took the collision, it was his head, which caused him to be laying on the ground for awhile after.
It's the kind of collision that would be a highlight-worthy hit in football. For it to happen in baseball should say something about the athletes that play the game.

Of course, Harrison should probably learn to target the ball when trying to knock it out instead of simply knocking his opponent unconscious and hoping for the best.
