VIDEO: Remembering When Deandre Hopkins Body Slammed Marcus Williams After an Interception
By Max Staley

DeAndre Hopkins was traded to the Arizona Cardinals this offseason. During his seven-year tenure with the Houston Texans, he racked up 8,602 receiving yards, good for the third most in the NFL during that stretch. In other words, Brandin Cooks, Randall Cobb, Will Fuller and Kenny Stills have some big shoes to fill.
But Hopkins brought more to the table than just production, as he always played with a toughness and swagger than seemed to galvanize his teammates. Few plays showcase that mentality better than this ridiculous hit he put on Marcus Williams in Week 1 of the 2019 season.
Clearly working out some frustration because of the interception, Hopkins effortlessly shoves Marshon Lattimore to the ground and zeroes in on Williams. Hopkins then proceeds to perform a ridiculous, WWE-style bodyslam on the New Orleans Saints safety, for which he is, obviously, flagged.

The Week 1 showdown between the Texans and Saints was one of the most exciting games of the season, but Hopkins' hit still manages to standout as one of the craziest moments from the game.
