Brett Favre was about as tough as any NFL quarterback we've ever seen. Known for being an iron man, Favre could take a beating, but he could give it out as well as he could take it.

Check out this hit he made on a block against San Francisco 49ers legend Patrick Willis.

Favre deserves credit for even attempting to block Willis, who was a 6-foot-1, 240-pound linebacker that made seven Pro Bowls and five first-team All-Pro appearances.

The then 40-year-old QB actually puts a pretty nice hit on the unsuspecting Willis, though. It's also nice to see some mutual respect from Willis, who helps Favre get to his feet after the play.

And it's plays like this that endeared Favre to NFL fans around the league.
