Legitimate fights in the NBA have dwindled big time over the last two decades. Between player's mindsets changing and the league laying the hammer down after the infamous Malace at the Palace, we simply don't see that many legitimate physical altercations anymore.
However, back in 2006, not long after that mayhem in Auburn Hills, the New York Knicks and Denver Nuggets got into a nasty spat that turned quite physical between almost everyone on the court.
With punches and bodies flying everywhere, it was hard to keep track of all the action. The irony of this is that in the years that would follow a large portion of these players would end up switching sides, due to the 2011 trade that sent Carmelo Anthony to the Knicks.
