There's a new underdog story that's enamored the city of Philadelphia, and that's the Philadelphia Phillies. The Phillies continue their magical run to the World Series next Friday when they take on the Houston Astros for a Game 1 with championship hardware on the line.
Before the official Game 1 madness officially sets in over the next four days, Phillies fans are perfectly content reliving the best moments from a memorable weekend at Citizens Bank Park. None bigger than the heroic home run from the city's newest star, Bryce Harper.
Harper's blast already earned its own nickname, dubbed 'Bedlam at the Bank'. Philadelphia radio play-by-play announcer Scott Franzke came up with this classic, and a video of his epic home run call was revealed on Monday afternoon. Check it out below
Franzke executes this home run call to perfection as his booth-mate Larry Andersen cannot contain his own excitement. The camera pans over to Andersen, who immediately mimics an act of bowing for the greatness Harper just bestowed on Phillies fans everywhere.
