Compared to some of the other major North American sports leagues, MLB baseball isn't always thought of as the most dramatic and emotional games. But, don't tell that to Chicago Cubs left fielder Joc Pederson.

In Wednesday afternoon's Cubs-San Diego Padres contest, Pederson launched a long home run to right field, tying the game at 1-1 in the top of the fourth inning.

Only, it was his epic home run trot that did all the talking on this one.

San Diego has one of the game's biggest superstars in Fernando Tatis Jr. The 22-year-old shortstop has a larger-than-life personality, ever apparent with his own flare on the game. Be it bat flips, or his signature stutter-step home run trot around third base, fans love this young star.

Well, Pederson channeled his inner Tatis Jr. during his own home run trot on Wednesday. Honestly, just an awesome flare of drama for the MLB and its entire fanbase to have fun watching. We'll see if this creates any bad blood between the two sides during the rest of Wednesday's game. The two teams won't meet again in 2021, but imagine a postseason contest with this epic trolling still in mind.
