Umps and referees don't tend to get a lot of respect in the sports world. Maybe that explains why Atlanta Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman thought he could pull a fast one over them in Tuesday's game against the New York Yankees.

This is a pretty hilarious move from Freeman. After missing a catch in foul territory, the ball bounced away along the tarp that covers the empty seats. Not coming away empty handed, though, he found another ball tucked away behind the wall, so he grabbed that one instead.

The umps obviously saw through the crafty move pretty easily, but you definitely have to give Freeman full points for creativity on this one.
