The Chicago Bears stunned plenty of so-called experts with their Week 1 win over the San Francisco 49ers. Despite being the underdogs and dealing with inclement weather, Chicago secured an upset 19-10 win after scoring all of their points in the second half.

Following the game, Bears players embraced the sloppy field and celebrated their victory with an epic slide.

Quarterback Justin Fields, who also has a baseball background, led his team into a head-first dive once the final whistle sounded. They all glided on the slick surface, sending water up around them and making for a memorable moment.

This was quite the start to head coach Matt Eberflus' tenure. Though the offense struggled in the first half, the defense dug in its heels to keep things close. With the game still tight in the fourth quarter, Chicago's defense stepped up once again, as an interception by Eddie Jackson set up another score by Khalil Herbert to seal things.

It was great to see the Bears prevail at home against a tough opponent, and this win is sure to give them some momentum to begin the year. They'll head on the road to face the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football in Week 2.
