Vic Fangio and the Denver Broncos started off their 2020 season with a tough loss to the Tennessee Titans on Monday Night Football. A game in which both teams struggled to score, and the Titans saw Stephen Gostkowski, formerly one of the best kickers in the league, miss three field goals, it all came down to the wire.

The Titans ended up kicking a field goal to win it in the closing seconds, Gostkowski's only make of the night. And with that make, it added another game to a list that Fangio and the Broncos aren't too proud of.

Since taking over the head coaching job in Denver in 2019, Fangio's team has lost four games in which they held a lead with 30 seconds or less remaining in regulation.

Losing a one-score game is tough enough, but when it happens in the last 30 seconds, it has to be that much more deflating. Denver's defense did look good despite dealing with a handful of injuries, including star linebacker Von Miller. But when Fangio needed his defense most, they were unable to get the job done, and unfortunately, in those situations, it's starting to become a trend.
