Vegas Sees Two Huge Threats to Chiefs Going Undefeated in 2021

The Kansas City Chiefs improved in areas of need this offseason. That's a scary thought given they were Super Bowl runner-ups last season. This could be a special year for the Chiefs, who are viewed as a team that could run the table in the regular season.
However, Vegas sees two big threats to spoil a possible undefeated year.

Odds on FanDuel Sportsbook have highlighted likely spots where KC could take its first loss of the season. Unsurprisngly, the Chiefs' tough start to the year is viewed as prime territory for a blemish on their record.
Kansas City's Week 2 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens is seen as the favorite at +160 odds to be the Chiefs' first defeat. But, KC's Week 1 contest against the Cleveland Browns (+195) presents another huge threat to start the year with a loss.
Both teams have made their own upgrades this offseason, and they're in position to be Super Bowl contenders as well. Cleveland will want to avenge its playoff loss in their Week 1 matchup, while Baltimore will have home-field advantage in Week 2.
The Chiefs are actually favored to win both games, though their edge over the Ravens (-1) is razor-thin compared to the Browns game (-6). If KC can emerge from this brutal back-to-back unscathed, the Chiefs have serious potential to go the distance.
