Twins Get Good News with Latest Sonny Gray Injury Update

The Minnesota Twins are one of the hottest teams in the MLB right now, winning 12 of their last 15 games. They're now slated to get an extra momentum boost in the form of veteran starting pitcher Sonny Gray's return to the mound.
The Twins have announced that they have activated Gray from the 10-day injured list after he missed the last three weeks with a hamstring injury. The 32-year-old righty will make his return in a start against the Oakland Athletics on Saturday afternoon.

Twins News
It's been exactly three weeks since Gray's last start and the hope is that he can bounce back after a rough start to his first year with the Twins.
Gray is 0-1 in two starts in the 2022 MLB season, pitching to a 5.68 ERA and 1.263 WHIP in 6.1 innings pitched. Nevertheless, opposing batters are only batting .208 against him and more reps on the mound could help the rest of his statistics fall into place.
Gray gets a juicy matchup against an Athletics team that has lost seven games in a row entering Saturday. He is 0-1 with a 7.71 ERA in two appearances against Oakland in his career, so it'll be interesting to see if he can snap that trend.
The good news is that things look promising for Gray and the Twins. FanDuel Sportsbook is listing Minnesota as the -196 moneyline favorite ahead of Saturday's game against the A's.
