Cowboys Get Bad News on Trevon Diggs' Injury Update
By Max Staley

Dallas Cowboys standout rookie cornerback Trevon Diggs has fractured a bone in his foot, which will likely sideline him for the next 4 to 6 weeks. Given that we're heading into Week 10, it's possible that this injury will end Diggs' year.
This is a huge blow to an already shorthanded defense.
Sources: #Cowboys impressive rookie CB Trevon Diggs suffered a fractured bone in his foot late on Sunday and is out 4-6 weeks. Based on the timing, it’s possible his 2020 season is over. Either way, Diggs will make a full recovery for 2021. A big loss to that defense.

Through nine starts, Diggs had racked up 48 tackles 10 passes defended, 2 interceptions, 1 forced fumble and 1 sack. He was a little inconsistent, however, surrendering 15.3 yards per completion, 4 touchdowns and a 92.0 passer rating on the 66 targets he faced this year.
Still, he showed some real promise at times and there should be better days ahead for Diggs. Expect Anthony Brown and C.J. Goodwin to pick up the slack while he's on the shelf.
The depleted Cowboys are on bye in Week 10, and at this point FanDuel Sportsbook has them as huge +870 underdogs to make the playoffs in 2020.
