Now that bye weeks are gone and the fantasy football playoffs are here, bench spots don't carry the same premium they did earlier in the year. While you often had to your bench just to avoid dropping your usual starters when they were on bye, those roster spots can now be used to plan for the future – whether you earned a bye or advance in Week 14.

This means looking ahead and taking not just your Week 14 matchup into consideration, but also Week 15 and Week 16 for a potential fantasy championship run as well.

We've already got you covered with the top 12 fantasy defenses and top streaming defenses for Week 14, but the following defenses, available in at least 45 percent Yahoo! Fantasy Football leagues, are worth an add now because of the great value they'll offer for the next few weeks.

1. Houston Texans

The Houston Texans are one of our top streaming options for Week 14, and things don't get much tougher for them in the following two weeks either. Their Week 15 matchup comes against the Tennessee Titans, who have allowed a sack on 12.7 percent of their dropbacks this season. That's 2.2 percentage points higher than any other offense. Then Week 16 is a matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who have allowed the NFL's fifth-most fantasy points per game to opposing defenses. Expect the Texans to be a top-12 option in each week for the rest of the fantasy season.

2. Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars have some boom-or-bust matchups down the stretch. The Oakland Raiders and Atlanta Falcons are capable of doing some damage in the passing game, both ranking above average in passing yards per game, but those are still exploitable matchups in fantasy. The Falcons have surrendered the NFL's 12th-highest sack rate and seventh-most fantasy points per game, and the Raiders have been struggling lately, allowing 18 and 20 fantasy points to defenses in their last two games. The Jags have recorded a pressure (sack, QB knockdown or hurry) on 26.8 percent of opposing dropbacks, which is the seventh-highest pressure rate in the NFL. They're averaging 8.0 fantasy points per game over the last six weeks and could be in for a strong end to the season.

3. Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs have been a volatile fantasy defense with big upside this year. They've scored less than five points on four occasions, but also topped 20 twice. The Chiefs also rank in the top-10 among all teams with an average of 8.7 fantasy points per game over the entire season, making it a bit of a head-scratcher that they're still available in more 70 percent of leagues. They have a tough matchup against the New England Patriots this week, but Week 15 and 16 have them going up against the Denver Broncos and Chicago Bears. Both teams rank bottom six in scoring on the season, with Chicago averaging 17.7 points per game and Denver scoring just 16.5. The Chiefs make for a great speculative add, if you have a roster spot, this weekend.
