Tigers Get Bad News on Wilson Ramos Injury Update

The 2021 MLB season has gone from bad to worse for the Detroit Tigers. Currently sitting in fourth place in the AL Central at 18-28, Detroit could be in danger of falling behind the 17-29 Minnesota Twins in the coming days.

Wilson Ramos has been placed on the 10-day Injured List with a back issue.

This is the same issue that Ramos had just returned from, so it's concerning to see it flare up again so quickly. Hopefully with some rest, he can put the injury behind him for good.

Ramos hasn't been particularly effective at the plate this season, but he has shown some pop. While he's only hitting .200 on the year, he does have 6 home runs and 13 RBI. Detroit could certainly use that kind of power in its lineup again.

Hopefully Ramos can get back to full strength soon.
