The New Orleans Saints look to snap a four-game losing streak when they host the Dallas Cowboys in NFL's Week 13 Thursday Night Football.
Thursday Night Football Fantasy Picks
If you need some help building your fantasy lineup, here's some start 'em, sit 'em advice for this Thursday Night Football matchup.
Amari Cooper Fantasy
Start Amari Cooper, WR, Dallas Cowboys: The Dallas Cowboys will get back both of their dynamic 1-2 punch of wide receivers in Week 13 and that does wonders for Amari Cooper's fantasy outlook. With both Cooper and CeeDee Lamb returning, the two could be in for a big week. Lamb is already a surefire starter each week and Cooper has the potential for WR1 numbers against a Saints defense that allows the fifth-most PPR points to opposing wideouts. Not only does Cooper average 4.9 receptions per game, but he's Dak Prescott's favorite target in the red zone (9 targets).
Mark Ingram Fantasy
Start Mark ingram, RB, New Orleans Saints: The Saints ruled out Alvin Kamara for Week 13 and that immediately vaults Mark Ingram back into starting lineups. In two Saints games without Kamara, Ingram operates at RB8 for PPR leagues and averages 22.5 opportunities (15 rush, 7.5 targets), 5 receptions and 110.5 rushing and receiving yards in those contests. He also faces a Cowboys run defense that ranks just 18th in Football Outsiders' DVOA metric.
Michael Gallup Fantasy
Sit Michael Gallup, WR, Dallas Cowboys: The returns of Lamb and Cooper leave Michael Gallup on the outside looking in. Gallup has seen 18 targets the past two weeks and put up respectable WR28 numbers in Lamb and Cooper's absence. Weeks 1 and 10 are the only examples of Gallup playing alongside both Cooper and Lamb in 2021, and he averages a standard 3.5 receptions, 39 receiving yards and 0 TDs in those contests.
Marquez Callaway Fantasy
Sit Marquez Callaway, WR, New Orleans Saints: Marquez Callaway may lead the Saints in targets (51) and rank second in receptions (27), but he simply hasn't been relevant for fantasy managers. His WR44 ranking is disappointing for a No. 1 wide receiver on depth charts and now he has to deal with his third different starting quarterback of the year. Taysom Hill gets the start under center this week and there's simply not enough passing tape on the Saints QB to trust any of New Orleans' wide receivers this week. Especially when Dallas ranks fourth in Football Outsiders' pass-defense DVOA metric.
