This Mavericks-Cowboys Crossover Jersey Concept Looks Amazing on Dak Prescott

Though they haven't been nearly as dominant as they were in their heyday, the Dallas Cowboys have been consistently competitive lately. The same can be said of the Dallas Mavericks. And in an homage to Dallas sports, the Pick6 Instagram account decided to create a mashup of the Mavericks and Cowboys jerseys.

And it looks pretty great on Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.

Clearly using the throwback Mavericks jerseys for this concept, something about the design just works. The blue and green really mesh well together, and the green outline on really helps the numbers pop.

It's perhaps a bit jarring to see the old-school Mavs logo, which prominently features a green basketball, on a football helmet. But if you can get past that, the whole thing does look pretty great.

The Cowboys weren't one of the seven franchises that got a uniform redesign this offseason. But if they're ever looking for a drastic change to their clean, classic look, this Mavericks-inspired throwback could serve as inspiration.
