With their team sporting a 2-10 record entering Week 14, Houston Texans fans really only have the 2022 NFL Draft to look forward to. But, a certain Houston player is giving the fanbase something to cheer about right now, too.

The latest Pro Bowl voting returns are in, and punter Cameron Johnston currently leads all AFC players at his position with more than 58,000 votes.

With how bad the Texans have been this season, it isn't surprising that Johnston leads the NFL with 66 punts entering Week 14 — just five off from his career-high.

Johnston has averaged 46.8 yards per punt this season and even set a new career-best with a 69-yarder against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 7. Adding on to his impressive 2021 performance, he's also landed the second-most punts (28) inside of the 20-yard line.

Johnston has the chance to continue his Pro-Bowl campaign in Week 14 against the Seattle Seahawks. FanDuel Sportsbook is listing Houston as the 8.5-point underdog, so it could be another busy day for the veteran punter.
