The Buffalo Bills won their Wild Card Round game against the Miami Dolphins last week, but it wasn't pretty. The Bills only beat the Dolphins by three points in a game they were expected to win by double digits, narrowly avoided a devastating first-round exit at the hands of their division rivals.

One reason for the final score being so close was turnovers, as Buffalo gave Miami three free possessions with a pair of interceptions and a lost fumble. Not surprisingly, Bills head coach Sean McDermott did not appreciate his team's sloppy play.

McDermott knows his players need to take better care of the ball this weekend against the Cincinnati Bengals, who have won nine straight games and feature one of the most dangerous offenses in the NFL. If the Bills lose the turnover battle again, they will likely lose the game as well.

It's tough to win in the NFL when you give the other team extra chances, especially in the playoffs. Just ask the Baltimore Ravens, who literally fumbled the game away against Cincinnati last week.

McDermott's quote may have been blunt, but it's 100% correct. If Buffalo gets careless with the football, Joe Burrow and co. will make them pay.

Fortunately for the Bills, oddsmakers believe they have the upper hand against the defending AFC champs. Buffalo is currently listed as a 5-point home favorite versus Cincinnati on FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds.
