Saints Continue Falling in Latest ESPN NFL Power Rankings

The New Orleans Saints are winless in their last five games after beginning the 2021 NFL season with a 5-2 record. Injuries to key offensive players have held the team back, leading to them falling down ESPN's NFL Power Rankings.
After coming in at No. 20 last week, the Saints have fallen to No. 22 in the latest rankings ahead of Week 14.

Saints Power Ranking
The Saints season became derailed as soon as they lost starting quarterback Jameis Winston for the year. In his last game, Winston led New Orleans to a 36-27 victory over the Buccaneers. Since then, the Saints haven't won a game.
New Orleans attempted to try and turn the season around by starting Taysom Hill under center last week. Unfortunately, the change didn't pay off as he had four interceptions — including a pick 6 — in a 27-17 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.
The good news for Saints fans is that the rest of the schedule is pretty manageable. Four of their final five opponents have sub-.500 records, with the only truly challenging task being the Buccaneers in Week 15. If New Orleans can string together some wins, a playoff appearance is still possible
The first step in that journey comes in Week 14 when the Saints visit the New York Jets. FanDuel Sportsbook is currently listing New Orleans as 5.5-point favorites.
