Could there be a new top dog in the NFC next season? At this point, the general consensus is it could be going that way.

The Rams and Saints played in a thrilling conference title game last season. One that even has Roger Goodell and officials still in a bit of hot water.

So, you better believe the Saints are going to enter the new year looking to get to the Super Bowl to avenge what happened last winter. And according to the latest odds, they're looking strong in their quest.

The Saints are listed at +400 to win the NFC crown, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. Right behind them, however, are the Los Angeles Rams at +450. Don't sleep on the Eagles (+700), Bears (+850) and Packers (+900) either.

For New Orleans, they made plenty of offseason moves, but one that's already been stealing headlines is the addition of tight end Jared Cook.

The veteran TE had a solid year for the Raiders last season, hauling in 68 balls for 896 yards and six touchdowns. He and Drew Brees are already developing strong chemistry with one another.

For the Rams, who figure to be the Saints' biggest competition, the status on Todd Gurley's knee continues to scare fans. Will he be at full strength throughout the season, or will the pain continue to linger and affect his ability to make plays?

As for the Bears, their defense should frighten opposing QBs throughout the league. With Khalil Mack back to lead the unit, they're as good as ever. With Week 1 around the corner, the excitement for what's to come just keeps on growing. Get ready, football fans.
