Even the most ardent Richard Sherman supporters had to be impressed with what he did on the San Francisco 49ers. Coming off a torn Achilles, it looked like Sherman was headed into the twilight of his career when he joined the team in 2018. But he proved he's still among the league's best when healthy, making the Pro Bowl in 2019 while playing an integral role on a Super Bowl-caliber defense.

Entering his age-33 season, Sherman should draw plenty of interest now that he's likely hitting the open market. Here are the three most likely destinations for Sherman in free agency.

Richard Sherman Free Agency

3. Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans would've been legitimate contenders if their defense was up to the task. The offense proved last year was no fluke, averaging a stellar 30.7 points per game (No. 4 in the NFL). But the defense was a bottom-10 scoring unit, allowing 27.4 PPG. The Achilles heel of that group was the pass defense, which checked in as the league's third-worst defense by DVOA. If they can work it out financially, Sherman could bring a much-needed veteran presence to the secondary, and the chance to play a big role on a contender could be enticing to him.

2. Green Bay Packers

If Sherman is willing to take a bit of a discount, the Green Bay Packers would be a logical option. Green Bay is a no-doubt Super Bowl contender in 2021, but it's also clear the Packers need to address this secondary. Kevin King's numerous mistakes in the NFC Championship Game certainly proved that. A healthy Sherman playing alongside Jaire Alexander would be one of the best CB duos in the league.

1. Las Vegas Raiders

Sherman and the Las Vegas Raiders have been in the headlines recently, as some have accused Jon Gruden of tampering due to his comments about the former Seahawk. Regardless of what happens there, the interest between the two seems mutual. Las Vegas was the league's seventh-worst pass defense by DVOA last year, and signing Sherman would be a huge addition for this inexperienced, young secondary.
