There are few fanbases more excited that the Raiders for the 2020 season, with the franchise making the move to Las Vegas. After barely missing out on the playoffs last season, the Raiders hope a successful draft and the excitement of the move will help the team get over the hump. However, not everyone is as optimistic.

FanDuel Sportsbook currently has the Raiders' win total set at 7.5, with -115 odds on the under. This projects Jon Gruden and his team to finish 7-9, or 8-8, which would make it another disappointing season for Gruden and the Raiders.

The last time the Raiders finished with a winning record was 2016, finishing 12-4 under Jack Del Rio. This was the only winning season for the Raiders since 2002, when they lost in the Super Bowl to former and current coach Gruden.

On paper, the Raiders seemed to address a number of needs in the draft in order to get over the hump. They used their two first-round picks on wide receiver and cornerback, which were their two biggest needs. The Raiders then drafted two more receiving weapons for Gruden in back-to-back picks, two more defensive backs and an interior offensive lineman. In all, fans have to be happy with this draft.

The biggest thing working against the Raiders is the division they played in. The Kansas City Chiefs are the reigning Super Bowl champions, while the Los Angeles Chargers and Denver Broncos also both improved this offseason. It will be an interesting season in the AFC West, and it wouldn't be surprising to see three playoff teams come out of this conference.
