Two Raiders Starters Reportedly on Trade Block
By Max Staley

The Las Vegas Raiders might need to shake things up if they're looking to get out of the middle of the pack. Coming off an 8-8 finish, Las Vegas only has about $15 million in projected cap space to make those improvements.
Raiders Trade Rumors
As a result, there are some rumblings indicating that this team could be looking to move on from two starters: CB Lamarcus Joyner and OT Trent Brown.
More players that could be traded per @AlbertBreer: DT Geno Atkins, CB Stephon Gilmore, TE David Njoku, DL Michael Brockers, LB Preston Smith, OG Andrew Norwell, LB Kwon Alexander, DB LaMarcus Joyner, OT Trent Brown, OL Kevin Zeitler, RB Latavius Murray and WR Emmanuel Sanders. pic.twitter.com/OW7WDqV619

Of the two, Brown figures to drive much more interest on the trade market. But Joyner is a logical piece for the team to try to move as well.
The cornerback had a disastrous campaign in 2020, finishing with a 53.8 overall grade from ProFootballFocus. That's not what you want from a guy who had a $9.2 million cap hit last year. He has a cap hit of over $11 million in each of the next two seasons, but Las Vegas can get out of his deal with under $3 million in dead money next year.
There's almost no way the Raiders bring him back at that price, but a trade would surely be preferable so that the team doesn't lose him for nothing.
Expect Las Vegas to move on from veterans like Joyner, and perhaps even Brown, in 2021.
