Raiders Odds to Make Playoffs in 2020 Suggest Tough Road to Postseason Ahead in Las Vegas
By Zach Brunner

This season marks a new beginning in the Raiders' franchise history, as the team will be making its move to Las Vegas. While there is a lot to be excited about, with a beautiful new stadium and young players with a lot of potential, the most important thing to fans remains the results of each game.
Raiders Odds to Make Playoffs 2020
With that in mind, 2020 may not the Raiders' year to return to the postseason, at least not by the odds. According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Raiders' odds to make the players are +250, making them a long shot with an implied probability of just a 28.6 percent shot at making the postseason.

On the flip side, the Raiders' odds to miss out on the playoffs are -340, which is equivalent to a 77.3 percent shot of missing the postseason. This comes after just barely missing out on the playoffs last season, being one of the final teams eliminated from playoff contention.
The Raiders finished last season with a 7-9 record, which was tied for the second-best record in the AFC West. With the Kansas City Chiefs as the clear top team in the division, it looks like the Raiders' only option to make the postseason will be to win a wild card birth.
Competing for the the Wild Card will be tough in the AFC, with the Buffalo Bills and Tennessee Titans – last season's AFC Wild Card teams – both incredibly tough. The AFC also has the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns, Indianapolis Colts and Los Angeles Chargers, four teams that missed last season's playoffs but have all seemingly improved during the offseason.

The projected win total for the Raiders is currently set at 7.5, with -120 odds on the under, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. With how tight this AFC race will likely be this season, going under .500 means the team will almost certainly be watching the postseason from home, like the rest of us.
