Like so many other things across the sports landscape, the PGA Tour has been put on hold until the world has beaten this pandemic. The majors are not immune to this either. Augusta National was the first domino to fall, postponing the Masters until further notice, and the PGA Championship soon followed.

PGA Championship Postponed

The event is hoped to be held later this summer. With the reset in dates, we could also see a reset in the odds to win the tournament. So let's take a look at the current odds and favorites to take home the trophy at the 2020 PGA Championship.

PGA Championship Odds

All PGA Championship betting odds can be found on FanDuel Sportsbook.

Rory McIlroy: +600
Brooks Koepka: +1200
Dustin Johnson: +1200
Justin Thomas: +1200
Jon Rahm: +1600
Tiger Woods: +1800
Bryson DeChambeau: +2700
Hideki Matsuyama: +2700
Patrick Cantlay: +2700
Adam Scott: +2900
Rickie Fowler: +2900
Xander Schauffele: +2900
Patrick Reed: +3300
Sungjae Im: +3300
Tommy Fleetwood: +3600
Tony Finau: +3600
Jason Day: +4100
Jordan Spieth: +4100

While Brooks Koepka is the defending champion, he does not come into this year as the favorite, sitting tied for second-best odds with Dustin Johnson and Justin Thomas at +1200 to win it. Rory McIlroy has been the favorite for most tournaments he's played in so far in 2020, and for good reason. He's had a fantastic start to the season, already earning six top-5 finishes and a win.

One player this delay in tournaments could really help is Tiger Woods. He was already starting to see some struggles with his back tightening up again. He had dropped out of a couple tournaments by the time things started to be delayed in March as well. This extra time off should really give him a chance to heal and let him continue his pursuit for 19 majors at full health later in the year.

While these odds will surely change as the final date is announced and as the summer progresses, it's good to know where things stand immediately after the news.
