Super Bowl LV will pit two star quarterbacks against each other in Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady. However, it'll be the job of the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers' defenses to slow those quarterbacks down.

Mahomes is making sure to keep a close eye on one Bucs defender, in particular, heading into the Super Bowl.

Mahomes has identified defensive tackle Vita Vea as someone who must be stopped on Sunday. The Chiefs QB called Vea a disruptor, highlighting his ability to throw a wrench in a team's gameplan if he goes unguarded.

It's not hard to see why Mahomes is worried about the defensive tackle. Vea stands 6-foot-4, 347 pounds, giving him a massive presence on the field. His availability for Sunday is a huge boost to a Tampa frontline that was already elite this season, ranking No. 1 in Football Outsiders' rush DVOA metric.

Vea had been missing in action for most of the Bucs' season after suffering a fractured ankle in Week 5, but Tampa's extended playoff run allowed him to play in the NFC Championship, and now he'll be extra rested for the Super Bowl.

His potential to wreak havoc on a depleted Chiefs offensive line is a huge storyline heading into Sunday's clash.
