The 2020 NBA Trade Deadline has come and gone, and while it did include some high-profile deals, it didn't do much to change the betting landscape.

The Milwaukee Bucks, Los Angeles Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers were in a three-way tie for the best odds to win the NBA finals in mid-January, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, and the Bucks have recently crept into a slight lead.

FanDuel Sportsbook still has the Clippers and Lakers tied for the second-best odds in the NBA (and the best odds in the Western Conference) at +300, but the Bucks (+290) stand alone as the overall favorites.

After those three teams, there's a massive cliff in the odds, with the Boston Celtics (+1400), now Clint Capela-less Houston Rockets (+1700), the Philadelphia 76ers (+1700) and the Utah Jazz (+1800) sitting as the only other teams with odds better than even +2000.

A big part of the Bucks' edge comes from their path to reach the NBA Finals — which is significantly softer in the East. Milwaukee is -130 to win their conference, while the Clippers and Lakers are each just +190 to make it out of the West.
