Mets Get Good News With Brandon Nimmo Injury Update

Things are starting to get back on track for the New York Mets. They're 8-2 in their last 10 games and back on top on the NL East with a 17-13 overall record. Francisco Lindor is still off to a slow start, but the overall record shows how deep this team truly is.
And, the Mets just got another piece of good news with the latest injury update to outfielder Brandon Nimmo.
J.D. Davis (left hand sprain) won't come off the injured list when eligible tomorrow. He'll need at least a few days beyond that.

Brandon Nimmo (bone bruise in left hand) stands a better chance of being activated when eligible on Friday.
Brandon Nimmo Injury News
Nimmo hasn't played since the first of May, sidelined on the 10-day injured list with a left index finger bruise, but he has a chance of being activated as soon as he's eligible on Friday.
An every-day outfielder for New York, Nimmo provides solid defense and usually finds himself leading off for this impressive lineup.
Nimmo owns a .318/.430/.439 hitting line including 8 RBI, 2 stolen bases and 7 runs scored in 66 at-bats this season. Nimmo should add a punch to New York's offense, which is desperately in need of one. Currently, the Mets rank second-to-last in all of baseball with 3.47 runs scored per game.
As it stands, New York is still the favorite to take home the NL East title. According to the latest MLB odds on FanDuel Sportsbook, the Mets own +120 odds to win the division.
