While Matthew Stafford is known for playing through just about any injury, a broken back has kept him on the sidelines for the last two weeks. And with the most recent injury update on the QB, it doesn't look like he's especially close to a return.
That means the Detroit Lions will continue to start Jeff Driskel, hurting the fantasy outlook of the entire offense.
The Lions' offense hasn't been terrible with Driskel at the helm, as their 13-point performance in Week 10 came against a very tough Chicago Bears defense and they went on to score 27 against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 11.
The way Driskel has spread the ball around, though, has limited just about everyone's fantasy value in the offense. Nobody has accounted for even 20 percent of Driskel's targets, with five players seeing at least 10 percent.
The Lions do get a favorable matchup in Week 12, taking on a Washington Redskins defense that is 26th against the pass according to Football Outsiders' DVOA rankings.
For this week, at least, the plus matchup does help salvage some fantasy upside for Detroit's skill-position players. Kenny Golladay sits at WR13, Marvin Jones is WR32 and T.J. Hockenson is TE10 in our Week 12 PPR fantasy football rankings.
