The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are battling the Seattle Seahawks in Munich, Germany as they aim to get back to the .500 mark. The team was reportedly close to not having their top rusher make the trip overseas, though. Running back Leonard Fournette was nearly forced to stay home for an unexpected reason.

A passport scare left Fournette's status up in the air for most of the past week. He needed to get a replacement, which was delayed in the mail due to inclement weather. Time was ticking as the plane was set to leave on Thursday afternoon. Thankfully, the passport finally arrived at 12 p.m. ET that day.
It was a close call that would've left the Buccaneers with only Rachaad White and Ke'Shawn Vaughn in the backfield. The Buccaneers are in sole possession of first place in the NFC South and a win would strengthen that lead. It's safe to say the coaching staff was glad to have Fournette ready in Germany.
Fournette enters Week 10 with 405 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns on 121 carries. However, his impact has been felt more in the passing game. The 27-year-old has hauled in 42 of his 49 targets for 314 yards and 3 touchdowns through the air. Fournette has been a great dump-off option on offense.
The Buccaneers have odds set at +1700 to win Super Bowl 57, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
