The Houston Astros looked to win their second straight game against division rivals the Seattle Mariners on Tuesday. And with Lance McCullers Jr. on the mound, they were in prime position to do so.

However, McCullers didn't go as long as planned in a no-decision, and Houston fell 4-0. The pitcher had a brutally honest self-review after the game.

McCullers felt great about his curveball, but called his changeup "dog water" on Tuesday. Clearly he wasn't happy with how he performed.

The 27-year-old only went 5.0 innings against Seattle after racking up a pitch count of 102. The loss didn't fall on his shoulders, as he recorded 0 earned runs, but Houston would've liked their starter to stretch his night into the later innings.

The Astros now hold a 7.5-game lead over the Mariners for first place in the AL West. Houston is the clear favorite at -1450 odds to win the division, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
