Updated (Sunday, Nov. 21, 3 p.m. EST): Kyler Murray has officially been ruled out of Week 11. Colt McCoy will start, but he's little more than a desperation QB2 play. With Murray out, the rest of the Cardinals' skill-position players are also losing some fantasy value.

Fantasy managers have been patiently waiting for the return of quarterback Kyler Murray, yet his status for Week 11 remains in doubt. The dynamic signal-caller is considered a game-time decision against the Seattle Seahawks, which could put veteran backup Colt McCoy in line for another start.

Kyler Murray Fantasy Outlook

Murray sprained his ankle a month ago against the Green Bay Packers and has been fighting to get back on the field ever since. He will take part in pre-game warmups to determine his final status. With a bye week following this game, it wouldn't be surprising to see Murray rest again in hopes of getting back to 100%.

Murray ranks as the No. 5 QB in fantasy scoring on a per-game basis and has been improving as a passer this year. The third-year pro is completing a career-high 72.7% of his pass attempts and averaging 12.2 yards per completion. He is a must-start player against Seattle if he is able to suit up.

Meanwhile, McCoy finished as the QB20 across his two starts in Weeks 9 & 10. He has a shot to post QB2 numbers once again facing a Seahawks' defense that has posted the eighth-worst pass defense DVOA rating. Overall, Seattle is allowing 275.3 passing yards per game (No. 29 in NFL).

The best strategy for fantasy managers rostering Murray is to have McCoy stashed on the bench just in case. If that is not possible, Ben Roethlisberger and Daniel Jones are both rostered in under 35% of Yahoo! leagues and play on Sunday/Monday night respectively.

For now, Murray checks in at QB3 in The Duel's Week 11 fantasy football rankings.
