Kenyan Drake Fantasy Outlook Rises as Cardinals' Clear-Cut RB1 Over David Johnson
By Zach Brunner

The Arizona Cardinals' backfield has been a bit chaotic for fantasy football this season. But following the Cardinals' Week 13 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, it appears Kenyan Drake is officially the team's clear-cut RB1.

Kenyan Drake - 80%
David Johnson - 23%
Chase Edmonds - 0% https://t.co/9vvoWeBK05
While he was not particularly effective in Week 13, Drake dominated the snaps for Arizona. He was on the field for 80 percent of the team's offensive snaps, compared to just 23 percent for David Johnson. Chase Edmonds, who was active in Week 13, didn't record a single touch.
Drake turned 13 carries into 31 rushing yards, and caught two passes (on five targets) for 20 receiving yards in Week 13. Johnson, meanwhile, only received six touches for 24 yards from scrimmage.

Kenyan Drake 51-of-64
*David Johnson 15
Chase Edmonds 0
*didn’t get second touch until Cards trailed 34-0
It appears that Drake is Arizona's new lead back, which may be tough for Johnson owners to swallow. Johnson had an average draft position (ADP) of RB7 this offseason, and he was fantasy's RB5 in PPR formats across the first six weeks of the season before injuries seemingly derailed his 2019 campaign.
The Cardinals play the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, and Drake checks in as our RB24 in our Week 14 fantasy football PPR rankings, while Johnson didn't crack the top 36 at the position.
