Kenny Golladay has been one of the league's best big-play wide receivers this season, but saw his production hampered when Jeff Driskel took over for an injured Matthew Stafford.
With rookie David Blough under center against the Chicago Bears in Week 13, Golladay bounced back in glorious fashion, catching four balls for 158 yards and one touchdown.
Despite all of the turnover at quarterback, Golladay is in the midst of a career year in 2019, as he is currently sixth in receiving yards (950) and tied for first in touchdown catches (nine).
While Blough struggled down the stretch against the Bears, his early aggressiveness proved he is likely a better fit for Golladay's skills compared to Driskel, as the two connected for a 75-yard touchdown on Thanksgiving, as well as receptions of 34 and 29 yards.
Awaiting the Lions in Week 14 is a winnable matchup against the Minnesota Vikings, who allow the sixth most fantasy points to wide receivers. Xavier Rhodes, once considered an elite shutdown corner, has seen his play fall off this season, as he is allowing an 87 percent catch rate to opposing receivers.
Blough will need to prove his Week 13 hot start was not a fluke, but with the Lions being 12.5-point underdogs, they should run into a pass-heavy game script early enough against the Vikings. Golladay is the 20th ranked WR in our Week 14 PPR rankings, with big-time upside if he can connect on one or two deep balls.
