Kenny Golladay is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. The only reason fans don't view him as such is because he's been stuck playing with the Detroit Lions. But that should finally be rectified in 2020.

If Matthew Stafford stays healthy, Golladay absolutely has a shot at a top-five finish among all wideouts in the 2020 fantasy football season.

Kenny Golladay Fantasy Football Value 2020

Golladay is currently coming off the board as the WR8, per FantasyPros' average draft position (ADP) rankings.

With Stafford at the helm, Golladay turned 7.8 targets into 4.4 receptions for 80.0 receiving yards per game while scoring 7 touchdowns during an eight-game span. He was fantasy's WR9 during that stretch. Essentially, he's being drafted to do exactly what he did with a healthy Stafford last season.

Obviously we can't predict injuries, but Stafford had been an ironman before 2019. He played a full 16-game season each year from 2011-18. If he's fully healthy entering the season, there's no reason to expect another setback.

With a healthy QB, there's reason to believe Golladay can be even better this season. He was the WR9 over the first half of the year despite seeing a 21 percent target share, which put him outside the top 30 at the position.

Stafford is certainly not averse to honing in on one great wide receiver – Calvin Johnson averaged 159.0 targets per year with Stafford at the helm from 2011-15. Golladay is far more talented than the rest of the Lions' receivers and there's no reason for his target share to be as low as it was in 2019.

With even the slightest uptick in volume, Golladay has a real shot to jump into the top-five WRs. We have him ranked as the WR6 in our 2020 fantasy rankings.
