It has been a disappointing season for Julio Jones fantasy owners, as the star wide receiver has been dealing with lingering injuries all season long. The injury that has caused Julio to miss the most time has been his hamstring, which he is still currently dealing with.

Due to his hamstring injury, Julio was ruled out for the NFL Week 15 game of Atlanta Falcons against Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Julio Jones Fantasy Outlook

This will be Julio's fifth game missed this season, and he has two other games where he played less than 50 percent of the snaps. However, when he plays, he continues to play like one of the best wide receivers in the NFL.

Across nine weeks, including the two where he was limited, Julio has caught 51 passes for 771 yards and three touchdowns. This production extrapolates to over 90 catches and nearly 1,400 yards over the course of a full 16-game season, which shows just how good he has been on the field.

With the Falcons not having anything to play for, it would be surprising to see Julio again this season. He did not participate in practice at all this week, hinting that he is not close to returning. Interim head coach Raheem Morris also said this week that Julio is still "week-to-week," which also does not provide much confidence in a 2020 return.
