The Los Angeles Rams are coming off of a disappointing loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 12. Quarterback Jared Goff underperformed, and head coach Sean McVay let his QB know that his poor play can't continue if Los Angeles hopes to contend.

Goff is taking his coach's criticism in stride and isn't letting it affect him.

It's clear that McVay wouldn't have publicly put his QB on notice if he didn't think he could handle it. And Goff doesn't seem too dismayed at his coach's comments, instead owning up to his uncharacteristic performance in Week 12.

Goff only managed to throw for 198 yards against the 49ers. The QB didn't pass for a single TD, but he did account for 2 interceptions – his second straight game with 2 INTs. Goff has thrown 2 interceptions in three of his last four games, and the Rams have lost two of those turnover-heavy games in that time.

Los Angeles still owns a 7-4 record, sits second in the NFC West, and is in prime position to make the playoffs. But if the Rams hope to make any serious noise, they'll need their QB to produce like they know he's capable of.

Goff will look to bounce back against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 13. His team is a 3-point favorite in that matchup, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
