Since Sean McVay took over in 2017, the Los Angeles Rams have consistently been one of the most dynamic offenses in football. They finished as a top-two scoring offense in each of his first two seasons with the team, but they've fallen off significantly in 2019, as the Rams were only the eighth-best scoring offense entering Week 10.
Through three quarters of play, Goff has completed 15-of-28 passes for 177 yards, with no touchdowns and one interception.
Entering Week 10, Goff was averaging the 17th-most fantasy points per game among all QBs. That's pretty underwhelming considering he finished as fantasy's QB7 in 2018.
Frankly, it's hard to imagine things turning around for Goff any time soon. Three of the Rams' next six opponents currently rank as top six scoring defenses in the NFL.
Their most favorable matchup, meanwhile, comes at home against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 17, when most fantasy leagues have already wrapped up.
With a daunting upcoming schedule, Goff is going to be tough to trust as a QB1 going forward. While he could remain fantasy viable as a streaming option in the right matchup, it's probably time to take Goff out of your starting lineup, if you haven't already.
