Dak Prescott was incredible in 2020. If the Dallas Cowboys current form doesn't prove it, maybe this stat will.
The Cowboys quarterback still has more passing yards than Kirk Cousins, Gardner Minshew, Baker Mayfield, Lamar Jackson, Cam Newton and Nick Foles. That's a long list of QBs, most of which have played a good portion of games.
Keep in mind, Dak only played five games this year. In those five games, Prescott threw to a 99.6 rating, with 1,856 passing yards and nine touchdowns. All of that was with injuries throughout his offensive line, and a defense that gave up 30-plus points most games.
The big question for Jerry Jones is whether or not to extend Dak long-term. With the way Andy Dalton and company have fared in the exact same offense, the answer has to be an unequivocal yes.
