Heisman Odds 2021: Matt Corral Joins Bryce Young as Favorites on FanDuel Sportsbook

The Heisman Trophy watch will be fun to monitor as the leading quarterbacks show their skills each week in college football. Seven of the eight players with odds below 50/1 are quarterbacks, according to FanDuel's latest Heisman Trophy odds.

In the SEC, two quarterbacks lead the way. Ole Miss QB Matt Corral tore apart an overmatched Austin Peay defense with 281 yards and 5 TD passes in a 54-17 win. FanDuel Sportsbook cut Corral's odd again to +400, and the duel-threat NFL prospect is now pass-for-pass alongside top-ranked Alabama QB Bryce Young (+300). The Crimson Tide quarterback has 7 TD passes this season after adding 3 with 227 passing yards in Alabama's take-it-easy 48-14 win against overmatched Mercer.

Oklahoma QB Spencer Rattler started the season as the Heisman favorite, and he's currently +900 along with C.J. Stroud, whose No. 3 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes lost at home to Oregon last Saturday despite Stroud passing 54 times for 484 yards and 3 touchdowns. Ducks running back CJ Verdell rushed 20 times for 161 yards and 2 TDs, and he caught another touchdown pass to lead Oregon's 35-28 upset on the road. Verdell is the biggest mover in the Heisman watch this week.

The odds and full list of Heisman hopefuls heading into Week 3 on FanDuel Sportsbook includes some huge longshots putting up big numbers. Western Kentucky’s Bailey Zappe (+50000) has transitioned to the FBS level very well. He's running the Hilltoppers air raid offense and has 10 TD passes in two games with 859 passing yards. He won't win the Heisman award, but plenty of players with big performances will see their odds shift in the weeks ahead.
