The 2021 season hasn't gone the way the New York Giants or their fans had hoped thus far. Sitting at 4-7 entering Week 13, the Giants surprisingly are still only one game out of the last NFC Wild Card playoff spot, so the season isn't entirely lost.

Daniel Jones Injury Update

However, New York has had to deal with a myriad of injuries this season, especially on offense. The team was just dealt another blow this week when starting quarterback Daniel Jones suffered a neck strain in the team's Week 12 win over the Philadelphia Eagles, leaving him doubtful for their Week 13 contest against the Miami Dolphins.

Jake Fromm Giants

To counteract this injury, the Giants made a depth signing at QB. The team announced they are signing former Georgia star QB Jake Fromm off the Buffalo Bills practice squad.

Fromm will provide depth behind veteran Mike Glennon while Jones is out. After an impressive college career at Georgia, Fromm's NFL career really never got off the ground. He has yet to appear in a game, and never really climbed up the Bills depth chart after being a late-round pick.

The Giants are hoping they can find a way to recapture what he showed in college, if he's ever called upon.

New York enters their Week 13 matchup against the Dolphins as 5-point road underdogs on FanDuel Sportsbook.
