First Touchdown Scorer Odds for Seahawks vs Packers NFC Divisional Round Game

The Seattle Seahawks handled their business in the Wild Card Round, defeating the injury-riddled Philadelphia Eagles, 17-9. They'll have another stiff test this week though, traveling to Lambeau Field to take on the Green Bay Packers. Green Bay is currently a 4-point favorite, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

If you're looking for an alternative way to wager on the Divisional Round, here are three players with a chance to be the first touchdown scorer come Sunday.

1. Aaron Jones, RB, Green Bay Packers (+450)

Aaron Jones is the hefty favorite to be the first overall touchdown scorer, and for good reason – he's been a TD machine this season. His 16 rushing touchdowns tied him with Derrick Henry for the most in the league, and he added another three scores through the air. Jones has also been the first Packer to find the end zone in two of the last three games in which he's scored, scoring the first overall TD of the game back in Week 14. Seattle also hasn't been great against the run this season, ranking No. 26 in Football Outsiders' DVOA metrics. If Green Bay gets it going early, Jones is likely going to be the guy who punches it in.

2. DK Metcalf, WR, Seattle Seahawks (+1200)

DK Metcalf has much longer odds than Jones, but the rookie wideout is on an absolute tear right now. He's scored touchdowns in back-to-back games, and he's averaging 120.5 receiving yards per contest during that stretch. Green Bay's secondary has performed reasonably well this season, but they have struggled against big-play threats like Metcalf. The Packers allow 12.3 yards per completion, which is the sixth-worst mark in the league, suggesting Metcalf has a chance to get loose downfield in this one.

3. Davante Adams, WR, Green Bay Packers (+650)

Davante Adams hasn't been quite the touchdown threat that he was last season, when he was tied for second the NFL with 13 receiving TDs, but he's been on a roll lately. He's scored a TD in two of his last three games. Both scores were Green Bay's first touchdowns of the game, and one was the first overall touchdown of the contest. If Green Bay's first score comes through the air, Adams is certainly the favorite to be on the receiving end.
