First Touchdown Scorer Odds for Texans vs Chiefs AFC Divisional Round Game

The Houston Texans defeated the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Wild Card Game, but they'll have a much stiffer test against the Kansas City Chiefs in the Divisional Round. Kansas City is currently a 9.5-point home favorite, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
If you're looking for an alternative way to wager on this one, here are three players that could be the first touchdown scorer come Sunday.
1. Travis Kelce, TE, Kansas City Chiefs (+600)
Travis Kelce has scored a touchdown in two of his last three postseason games, and he's unquestionably the Chiefs' most dangerous red zone weapon. His 19 red zone targets are tied for the sixth-highest mark in the league, and his 12 targets inside the 10-yard line are the second most in the NFL. Houston has really struggled to stop opposing passing attacks, ranking No. 26 in Football Outsiders' pass defense DVOA metric, and Kelce certainly has a chance to find the end zone in the early going.
2. Carlos Hyde, RB, Houston Texans (+950)
The Chiefs' defense has quietly been fantastic against the pass, though they've been among the league's worst run defenses. Kansas City checks in as the NFL's sixth-best pass defense by DVOA, but the Chiefs are the NFL's fourth-worst run defense in that metric. If Houston is going to attack Kansas City, the Texans could look to exploit that run defense, which could benefit their lead back, Carlos Hyde. He closed out the regular season by scoring a touchdown in back-to-back games in which he played his usual complement of snaps, one of which was the first overall score of the game.
3. Tyreek Hill, WR, Kansas City Chiefs (+650)
Tyreek Hill might be the most explosive player in the NFL. He can score from anywhere, anytime due to his unrivaled speed in the open field. Against a Texans' secondary that struggles defending explosive wideouts, allowing 12.0 yards per completion (No. 25 in the NFL), and ranks No. 26 in pass defense DVOA, Hill certainly has the chance to get loose downfield early on.
