Fantasy Golf Picks for the BMW Championship

The FedExCup Playoffs continue on this week at the BMW Championship after the playoffs started last week at the Northern Trust. The BMW Championship is the sandwich event of the three FedExCup tournaments, so some may consider it the "moving day" of tournaments.
With that in mind, let's take a look at some golfers to watch out for when putting together your fantasy team for this week.

Jon Rahm
Jon Rahm has been paying some really great golf as of late and it feels like he is on the cusp of raising a trophy any time now. His long driver off the tee should be a major asset at Medina, as he ranks No. 18 on tour in driving distance. Rahm finished T-3 last week in the Northern Trust and now ranks fifth in FedExCup Playoff points. He is also No. 6 in birdie average and No. 7 in overall scoring average. Combine that with the strength of his driver and Rahm should have a great week.
Justin Thomas
Justin Thomas struggled a bit with a wrist injury in the middle of the season, which seemed to knock his game off course for a little while, but he looks to be back on track as of late, placing T-11, T-12 and T-12 in his last three events. He might not have a win this year but he does have five top-10 finishes. He also ranks No. 1 on tour in birdie average and No. 8 on tour in overall scoring average.
The wait is over.

Patrick Cantlay
It feels like Cantlay has been going under the radar the entire season. Overall though, Cantlay has had a fantastic year, coming away with one win and eight top-10 finishes so far. He ranks No. 22 on tour in driving distance and second in overall scoring average. Cantlay is playing great golf recently and could be at the top of this leaderboard come Sunday.
