FanDuel Sportsbook Refunds $20K in Rockets Moneyline Bets Due to Officiating Gaffe on James Harden Dunk

Houston Rockets bettors suffered one of the worst beats of the season last night, losing in double overtime to the San Antonio Spurs. With a little under eight minutes remaining, Harden threw down a dunk that seemingly put the Rockets up 15.

However, despite the fact that the ball clearly went through the hoop, referees ruled the basket no good – as the ball got caught in the net and bounced back out, making it appear like a miss. Had the basket been officiated correctly, Houston seemingly would have gone on to win in regulation by two points.

Thankfully, FanDuel Sportsbook is making it as if that did happen, as they're refunding any moneyline bets placed on the Rockets prior to tip off.

This is certainly welcome news for Rockets moneyline bettors with FanDuel Sportsbook refunding close to $20,000.

While no bettor wants to be on the losing end of such an egregious call, FanDuel Sportsbook is giving their customers a clean slate on this one.
